YooHoo & Friends

YooHoo & Friends asked Manifest to create a site promoting the launch of their new cartoon series.
Our audience was kids aged 6-10. Our challenge was figuring out a way to stand out in an incredibly crowded marketplace.
Plus, we needed to make the experience pretty darn fun.
Starting from the insight that kids are a lot smarter than generally given credit for (our kids told us that), we created an immersive experience that allows them to explore lots and lots of YooHoo content.
Then we built Fling The Furry Five, an online game they could play for free, to create an incentive to keep coming back. Because research showed us that more young children are using tablets and smartphones, we built the game to be compatible across multiple platforms.
A clean architecture and logical hierarchy ensured the experience was accessible and easy. Branded elements, whimsical designs and a fun color palette helped create an emotional connection. And our technology solution was flexible, so that it could scale up or down as the intellectual property grew and changed.
The results so far have generated impressive results… and they’ve even impressed a few of our kids.
The primary experience lets kids explore the story, characters and world of YooHoo & Friends.
Fling the Flurry Five is a free, interactive game that lets kids actually control the characters as they set out on a mission to clean up the Earth.
No Furries were harmed in the making of this game.
